Jim Lackey Associates provides access to private capital in the form of either loans or private equity for businesses and individuals. Since March 2004, the company has funded over $20 million, mostly as a conduit for short-term "bridge" loans - 6 to 12 months in duration.

Jim Lackey Associates has built a reputation of honesty, integrity and performance. Our mantra is "Under-Promise and Over-Deliver." We pride ourselves in being very selective in the transactions we agree to fund to ensure that we offer to our investors minimum risk and maximum returns. For example, on loans secured by residential real estate, we focus on the high end of the market with an emphasis on coastal properties: La Jolla, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad and Rancho Santa Fe. These areas are historically less vulnerable to market swings than inland areas, and sales are often all cash, thus removing conventional financing as an obstacle to closing escrow.
